What is Ask Adora

Overview

Ask Adora is a chat interface for asking questions about your product in plain English. Instead of clicking through dashboards, you can ask things like "Where are paid users dropping off in their first week?" and get an answer in seconds, grounded in the real screens, journeys, and sessions Adora has captured from your product.

Answers reference the specific users, organizations, screens, and sessions they're based on, so you can see the evidence behind each finding instead of guessing whether to trust it.

Opening Ask Adora

Ask Adora is available everywhere in the product. There are three main ways to open it:

  • Floating button — a button in the bottom-right corner of the screen that follows you around the app. Click it to open a new conversation.

  • From any Journey, Screen, or Session page, use the Ask Adora button on the page to start a conversation grounded in that specific entity.

  • From Search, open Search with Cmd + K, type a question, and choose the Ask Adora option to drop straight into a chat with your query as the first message.

How conversations work

Ask Adora opens in a chat dialog. When you open a new chat, you'll see a few starter prompts to give you ideas if you're not sure what to ask. Type a question into the input at the bottom and press Enter to send. While Adora is working, you'll see a Thinking… state, with Thought indicators that show what Adora is doing at each step as it searches across your product's screens, journeys, and sessions.

Conversations are persistent. You can keep asking follow-up questions in the same thread, and Adora will use the earlier messages as context.

Context pills

When you open Ask Adora from a Journey, Screen, or Session page, the conversation starts with a context pill showing which entity the chat is grounded in. Your questions are interpreted relative to that entity. For example, opening Ask Adora from a specific journey and asking "Where do users get stuck?" will scope the answer to that journey.

If you open Ask Adora from the floating button or from Search, the conversation starts without a specific context, and Adora will look across your whole product to answer.

Responses

Answers are rendered as formatted text. Depending on the question, Adora structures its response with sections, bullet and numbered lists, and tables. Key data points and entity names (users, organizations, screens, sessions) are emphasized with bold, so the answer is easy to scan and you can see exactly which evidence each claim is based on.

As Adora works through your question, you'll see Thought indicators in the response showing what it's doing at each step. This makes the path from question to answer transparent, so you can see how Adora got there.

Adora often ends an answer with suggested next questions you can ask, so you can drill into a specific cohort, company, or session within the same conversation.

Managing conversations

Each conversation is saved automatically and named based on the first question you ask. The chat header has four controls:

  • New chat starts a new conversation.

  • Recent opens a list of your past conversations so you can switch between them.

  • Expand opens Ask Adora in a larger view.

  • Minimise closes the chat dialog.

To rename or delete a conversation, use the overflow menu next to the conversation title.

Example questions to try

  • Where are paid users dropping off in their first week?

  • Which onboarding step has the biggest drop compared to last month?

  • Show me every user who hit an error on signup yesterday.

  • When did we ship notifications v2?

  • What page had the most traffic this week?

Ask Adora via MCP

Ask Adora is also available as an MCP server, so you can ask the same questions from tools like Claude or Cursor and get the same evidence-backed answers without leaving your editor or chat client.
