Troubleshooting and FAQ
Overview
This article covers common questions and troubleshooting tips for users and cohorts in Adora.
FAQ
Can I create a cohort from an uploaded list of users?
Not yet. Cohorts are currently built by defining eligibility criteria. We're planning to add additional creation methods in the future, including static user lists where you can upload user IDs or manually select specific users.
Can I make a cohort private?
Not currently. All cohorts are visible to everyone in your workspace.
What happens if someone deletes a cohort I'm using as a filter?
If you try to delete a cohort that is applied as a filter on one or more journeys, Adora will ask you to confirm and show you which journeys will be affected. If the cohort is deleted, the filter is removed from those journeys, but everything else about the journey remains intact.
I know a user has logged in, but they're not appearing in my users list. Why?
This is most likely related to your sampling rate. If you're not capturing 100% of traffic, there will be gaps between all the users who have logged in and the users represented in Adora. Reach out to our team if you'd like to increase your sampling rate.
Why does applying a cohort sometimes return sessions that don't match the cohort's criteria?
Cohort filters work by matching user IDs, not by reapplying eligibility conditions. So if a user recently upgraded to a paid plan, a "paid plan" cohort applied to the sessions page may include sessions from before they upgraded.
Can I create cohorts based on in-product behavior, like time on a specific screen?
Not yet. Behavioral criteria like time spent on a particular screen aren't available in this release. We'd love to hear what specific behavioral filters would be most useful for your team.
